Victor's POV “It's… actually quite important,” Abel whispered with a stutter. I gave him a sharp look. “If you have something to say, say it. If not, get out of my sight.” He stiffened but didn’t back away. “I thought you might want to know what really happened at the dining hall.” I crossed my arms, feeling my jaw tense. “I was there, Abel. I think I saw everything I needed to see.” “No, Alpha. You saw the aftermath, not the beginning.” I tilted my head. “Then go on.” He nodded once and took a step closer. “The Omegas tried to attack Selene last night. Thirteen of them.” I blinked in confusion. “Thirteen?” “Yes. They surrounded her.” “And?” “She beat them. By herself.” I stared at him, waiting for the rest. “She didn’t just fight them off,” he continued, lowering his voice.
