Lexi’s POV
The sight before my eyes filled me with awe and surprise. Shockingly, the sea was being divided into two parts and in the middle, a path of sand emerged leading up to a whirlpool.
“Lexi, come on! We should hurry!” Devina tugged my arm before she hurried her feet to head down to the beach.
Desperate to keep up with her and the eclipse, I jogged behind her. The footpath downhill was rocky and all of a sudden, Devina’s foot tripped and she fell from the hilltop.
“Devina! No!” I screamed as she rolled down from the peak of the mountain towards the beach.
Luckily, somewhere in the middle, just before she crashed onto an extended rock in her way, Devina grabbed onto a tree branch and hung on it.
“What the f*ck! Wait, I am coming to get you!” I exclaimed before looking around
