*Five days after the accident*
Lexi’s POV
My head felt dizzy and darkness ruled my sight. My head was heavy and all I could hear was the sound of beeping coming from somewhere. My surroundings were calm, but I could feel something warm grabbing my hand tightly.
What is that? Where am I?
I slowly used all my strength to open my eyes, but my eyelids were glued to each other, refusing to open and look around. Then, gradually, the beeping sound started getting louder.
