Lexi’s POV
Before I could ask anything or Chris could say anything, the door of my hospital room opened and my parents entered with Brian.
“Sweetheart!” Mom came to me and hugged me as she cried.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t hug her back since both of my hands were attached to machines. “Mom!”
“Lexi, you look crap, but I have no words to say how happy I am to see you again.” Brian came close to me and fist-bumped me while Mom was still crying as she hugged me. Dad, on the other hand, was just looking at me without any emotion and I knew that he was angry with me.
