After my embarrassing moment with my mother, I managed to serve dinner for the three of us and eat it with out any more moments. Mum reined in her antics a little bit, but I was going to give it to her, she was smiling and that is the first proper smile I have seen on her face since I got home from New York.
She eventually excused herself after making Caleb blush with her comments about grandchildren and weddings. I mean come on we are not even officially back together, and she is already marrying us off.
“I love your mum” Caleb says as he helps clear the table.
“Yeah, she is one in a million” I say sarcastically.
“Yeah but she is a fighter, and she has brought up an amazing daughter” he says as he smiles at me.
“Yeah. Not sure about amazing daughter but yeah she is a fighter, and
