Tuesday and Wednesday I was not in the office and it wasn’t because I was avoiding Caleb, well maybe partly. No, mum was really not well and was feeling a lot more effects of the treatment than before. I was getting worried about her so when Wednesday night hit and she still hadn’t managed to eat anything I called the nursing team that have helped out in the past.
They were quickly at the house attending to her but promised me that it was all normal, they gave her some medication to help her to keep her food down, they also helped her have a bath while I changed her bedsheets. Before they left they made sure she ate something and was settled in bed. I was so thankful for them coming out and helping.
