Clark, Pearl, Patrick, and Tika walk into the house. Tika is looking around. Patrick takes her hand. "Tomorrow you and I will go into town before I have to be at the bank. There is a house not too far from here that I believe you will like. But we'll stay here tonight."
"Okay," she nods her head.
Pearl walks over to the young lady and hugs her. "I've always wanted a daughter. Now I have one. You just sit down right there. Tonight I'm going to cook you some fried chicken and a pot of green beans. I'm going to bake you two a cake." She smiles at Tika and then at her son.
Clark is leaning against the open door "Son tonight you and your bride will sleep in our room."
"Yes sir" Patrick smiles looking at her then at his father then at Tika.
Tika giggles, looking at her new husband.
