Joseph is walking across the street when he sees Qaletaqa, Richard, with some more men riding into town. "Bastard" he mumbles looking at Qaletaqa. Joseph glances at the woman who is riding behind Richard and realizes that it's his mother. "Why is she with them?" He stops walking to see where are they riding too. That's when he sees a body lying across the back of Dog Star's horse. Joseph runs over to the horse. Dog Star stops so Joseph can see that it's his father. Virginia is looking at her son falling to his knees and screaming "Who did this?"
Richard steps off of his horse, he walks over to Joseph. "Son come inside and I'll tell you everything."
Joseph looks up at him and then at his mother. "If you're behind this if they don't hang you I'll kill you myself." He's walking behind
