Mildred POV
The hospital was close to the palace and within the palace walls, though a separate building to the palace, a long-covered walkway, led me to the doors. It had three entrances, this one from the palace and one from the front of the building that goes out onto the courtyard and one at the rear of the building.
I entered the reception area, to find an old woman behind the desk. She looked up when I entered and she gave me a warm smile.
‘Are you Mildred?’ she asked kindly, her smile never leaving her face.
‘Yes, that is me.’ I replied softly and gave a weak, shy smile.
‘Thank you for saving my nephew the other day.’ She said as she got up from behind the desk and came around the front to stop in front of me.
‘Your nephew?’ I was confused.
