Calling me shocked would be an understatement. In Tobias’s dad’s office, his dad made me jump, his anger rolling off of him and I did not understand why. I was not used to that sort of anger rolling off of someone in authority. Normally, they can control it but his aura was red and his rage was out of control. I had no idea why, his apology was not good enough, and it was not me he should have apologised to and he should never growl like that. Tobias had done nothing to deserve his display of anger. I wanted to use my magic and put him back into his place, but I was a guest there and did not feel I was in a place to be comfortable to do that.
