The best night's sleep in a long time, it was so good that I slept in, and had to race to the training ground, in time to see that the timed trials had already begun. I joined the run easily, out running those in front of me. I was not going to catch the ones about to start their last lap and Mildred was one of them, she was flying. I was pleased she could out run the guys. They have been cocky and macho and I am sure Mildred doesn’t need that from them. I have seen her quietly put them back into their place without making an issue out of it.
