Third POV Miles felt a throbbing pain all over his body. He was muzzy and couldn’t open his eyes. The sudden coldness on his body hit him. He felt chilly and cold; someone was damping warm clothe on his head, neck, stomach, and legs. His delirious mind was recalling what had happened. He had been staying in the city for the last three days. He knew where Kathy lived. He left his hotel soon as he brought his stuff and went straight to Kathy’s house, carrying her favorite flowers. The old woman living inside told him that Kathy wasn’t there. Miles knew she was inside, and by the looked of the old woman, she probably knew who he was. He didn’t go back to the hotel.
