Mom and dad left the next morning. I did my morning routine like yoga and stretching. Luckily, this pregnancy didn’t make me grow as other pregnant women experienced. I gained a bit of weight but not much. If someone would look at me from behind, they won’t notice that I had a protruding belly in front.
To help overcome my sadness, I buried myself in writing and reading. I also started planting and building my greenhouse outside our garden. Knitting and crocheting baby clothes enjoyed me most.
Most of the time, I wondered how Miles coping up every day. Was he happy or sad? Did he miss me? Because I do miss him, and I felt sad knowing we could’ve been perfect if he just learned how to trust me from the start. Nevertheless, fate already brought us here.
