"Yes!" Genevieve eagerly took out her phone.
After the call connected, Elliot hesitated for a moment before answering, "Miss Watkins, is there something from Veronica?"
"She wanted Alpha Cliff come back immediately," Genevieve replied.
"Sorry, I can't hear you clearly. I'll call you back later," Elliot said before hanging up.
Genevieve's face fell.
She knew full well that the call had been deliberately cut short.
Seeing her expression, Veronica shook her head in frustration, "This Cliff, not only did he lose his own child, but he's also accompanying his soon-to-be-ex-wife to the amusement park! What on earth is he thinking?"
She picked up her cane beside her, "Have the driver prepare the car immediately. I'm going to ask him myself!"
