Zack I was restless and that was why I had just gotten into my car and driven to Dexter. I had simply let the road take me wherever and I blocked everything else out as I headed to the bar. I was stressed. I was anxious and I was looking for an outlet for my emotions. I could hear both Mato and Rebecca in my mind, but I pushed them out. Everyone was looking at me to fix everything and I couldn’t. “Ah, we haven’t seen you in a while,” someone remarked as I sat down by the bar. I didn’t recognize the bartender, but I waved him over anyway. “What can I get for you?” he asked. “Double whiskey, straight,” I ordered. He nodded and set a tumbler glass down in front of me. A couple of blocks of ice and then he poured in the whiskey. He was barely done, and I quickly grabbed it and downed it.
