The sun peeked through the tall windows of Georgia's bedroom, casting soft lines of light across the floor. She stood by the mirror, adjusting the final button on her pale grey blouse. Her hair was tied into a ponytail, and her makeup was light. Today, like every other, she looked put-together. Calm. Ready. Or so it seemed.
