Outside, the designated driver opened the door when he saw them approaching. Mark settled at the back seat first before Georgia followed suit. She adjusted her seatbelt as the car pulled away from the mansion. The tinted windows made the sunlight softer, and the leather seat was warm against her back. “Here,” he said, handing her a light blue file. “These are some of the questions they might ask you today.” Georgia took the file and flipped it open. Her eyes scanned the neatly typed questions. She didn’t say anything, but she nodded slightly, reading each line slowly and carefully, letting the words sink in.
