It wasn't long when I talked to Aragorn. He told me the situation on dent, months I haven't had any chance to go there and check. World is changing, every month is getting more and more instant and technology rises, our whole pack needs to catch up.
They weren't my responsibilities nor I will bear them on my shoulders, hence, they're my team and their loss is my loss too. I couldn't figure it out.
"The mating season is about to start, too. Does your wolf give you any signs that you already met your mate?" he asked, out of the topic because we're talking about lower rank alphas in the group.
"I'm not in a rush." I defended myself, knowing where this conversation was going.
"You're not but you can't shrug it off, soon and soon your wolf is gonna wake up and claim your mate. It would be convenient if she's just around her working for you." he told me.
"That's going to be my call then."
"How about your secretary?"
"You mean that girl wearing painful shoes everyday, like she's walking on needles but always smiling at me? No thanks." I declined. "Girls who wear those shoes have a lot of insecurities and always after the most pretty amongst them, and I am not into that kind of girl."
"That's harsh." he commented, shifting on the couch to prepare for sudden visits.
"Your smell, I don't want your smell in my whole damn floor Aragon." I told him after he snuggled my pillow. "Just leave."
"Whatever Seb, you're not intimidating me."
I ignored him after, there's still a lot of papers to review and do not deserve my sign. These all are after money, they're not efficient about resources which I am solely watching.
If the mating season will come faster than these useless papers, I might as well look for the mate I should have.

"You're fired." He was standing in front of me with the same smug look, unbothered eyes and his annoying chewing gum on his mouth. "With the damage you've done, the money you can pack is not even half." I signed the check and pushed it towards him.
I don’t need someone who works recklessly and can damage, though minimal, my company. The complaints are enough, before someone can file a legal complaint at him, mind getting rid of him first. Not truly worthy of, harsh, that's how he lives.
Fortunately, he didn't protest nor showed violent reactions about firing him. Seems like he is expecting this to happen soon, that is not a surprise after all.
The elevator dinged, the familiar smell invaded my floor. The two visitors suit themselves comfortably on my couch.
"What do you need?"
Based on their smell rising, they definitely want something.
"We want to drink."
I end up in a supermarket while they're putting all the drinks in their carts, dropping chips left and right. It is embarrassing to be with them so I detached myself, I just told them to text me back if they're done which is still far from happening.
Lurking alone, I just decided to grab one of the snacks humans used to eat. I picked what I always see in ads and TV advertisements, it doesn't look appetizing enough but to suppress curiosity I just had to.
Not too far, I saw a woman with her little child standing in front of a computer attached to the wall. She aligned the bag of chips and it showed the price, she continued doing it till she calculated her bills. That's convenient.
Curious, I walked towards the machine when they left. Because I used to have my groceries prepared in house and I'm not personally the one buying it, I rarely go to any stores. I stay mostly in my office, back to dent, house and then back to the office. It has been like that so even though I lived freely in the city instead of our dent, I don't know much outside because I always refused to see the world outside.
No one's looking so I raised the bag of chips I grabbed, waiting for the price to pop out when it didn't. It didn't also make a sound like when the woman used it before me. Patiently, I raised my hand holding the bag of chips again and waited-- for nothing. I stare at it for a minute, figuring out why it is not working for me. Did it detect I am not a human? Impossible.
Suddenly, a small guy appeared beside me. Asking questions I did not bother to understand because of his smell. His scent. I can feel my wolf inside me wanting to go out, it also pains me when he grabbed my hand and raised it. The tingling sensation down there, definitely I can feel myself swelling when I smell him again.
Who is this? He is tiny, not literally but his height barely reached my chin, making me one head taller than him. His skin is paler than me but his nape looks like milk, it looks soft and his.. scent gland. Oh crap. I am getting turned on. Big time.
He faced me again, his eyebrows meeting in the middle of his forehead and even I refused to think, my mind says it is endearing. I am having such inappropriate thoughts, and he is a guy for my sake.
His lips moved, but his scent struck my nose again, my wolf inside me wilds. It wants to get out, claim this person in front of me, devour his existence sensually. Holy crap.
"Uh, did you hear me?" his small voice asked, gentle but cautious enough. He is getting scared.
Sht. My senses become more and more sensitive everytime I smell him closer, a wolf inside me whispers to take this guy out and r****h him somewhere. This is getting serious and freaking the hell out of me because.. he is a guy. But I need a release.
