The Trials were apparently some old school primal rituals that were best done if both parties werewolf. Which is why it wasn't encouraged for an alpha to mate outside their race. Silas had said he'd get everyone to shut up about it, but Sophia wasn't opposed to doing the rituals. 

But Silas had refused to tell her what they even consisted of. 

"You're going back to school, you're going to have fun, and then you're going to send me some naughty fire messages because you're so hot and horny for me." He then kissed her deeply making her p***y weep for his attention. 

She was then pushed through the mirror portal pouting. 

Topaz had hugged her exhaling and shouting, "Oh my god you are now actually the bad b***h on top! I love you so much!" 

Sophia laughed, "I love you too, you freak." 

They went to class and kicked ass in Demonology when they summoned, El Furdo. A powerful fire demon who could incinerate someone with a look. But they had summoned him and vanquished him in a matter of seconds. 

When they got to lunch they were laughing when Charles came and plopped down in front of them. "So...from the rumor mill going around, a couple of diamond boys got on the bad side of a couple of Gemini girls side.  And now they're having weird reactions to this hex." 

Sophia giggled as Topaz shrugged in amusement, "I don't know anything about that." Charles grinned, "Yeah okay." 

Ezra suddenly walked through the courtyard and stood at their table. "Can I sit?" Everyone looked at her and she just shrugged. The table fell into an awkward silence and then Topaz loudly asked, "OKAYYY, so tonight? What's going on tonight?" 

Smirking Charles and Ezra both grinned, "We don't know either. Jordan and Kassidy are keeping their mouths closed." 

Charles smirked, "But I heard it's not for the light-hearted." 

Sophia and Topaz both scoffed, "Oh we're so down." 

When they were done with classes for the day, the girls went to the dorms to get cute. 

Both girls decided on pants with cute booties, nice tops, and cute headbands. Both girls curled their hair and layered their necklaces. 

When it was time to go, they headed outside and met Jordan and Kassidy by the demented woods. Once everyone was gathered around Jordan laughed, "Alright so tonight we're going to be doing a little challenge. And I can assure you the prize will be extraordinary." 

Jordan looked up when there seemed to be an ominous clock tower. 

"And we should go now, everyone in a circle and hold hands." Everyone did and soon they let themselves be led in a teleportation train by Jordan and Kassidy. When they were pulled through and sucked into time and space they ended up in the Underworld's famous smoke shop. 

The Dragon's Den. 

Everyone in the place was some level of a burn out with a high tolerance for every strand any pixies ever made. 

And they love to test the tolerance of any witch. 

Sophia looked at Topaz who squealed, "We're so f****d tonight." 

Jordan laughed hearing that and cheered, "Yes Topaz you're correct!" Everyone laughed and Kassidy told them the setup, "We're going to be smoking over two thousand blunts. Maybe more our rollers lost count, but once we're done smoking the last blunt in the box, who's ever here will win a prize no other witch has. Just know once you start you can't stop. You pass out or leave out of here you're disqualified." 

They were led into the room and sat in chairs circling the room. They drank water and ate snacks as the box of blunts was sat down in front of them. 

They turned on the music and soon the first blunt was lit and they were off. 

As the room soon became a hot box, Sophia was enjoying herself as she nodded to the music with Topaz. When she looked up from being goofy with her friend she noticed another Gemini looking at her. 

"Do you know who that is?" Sophia whispered to Topaz confused. Topaz looked and mumbled, "That's Kilani Quartz, she's a witch/pixie." Sophia hummed and looked at the girl intrigued. She was gorgeous, with her pale perfect skin, big blue eyes, and freckles across her skin. She had long black hair and her mouth was a perfect little bow. 

Walking to her, Sophia sat with her and smiled, "Hey." Kilani grinned, "Hi." Looking at the empty chairs beside her, Sophia asked, "Your friends bailed?" Kilani laughed, "Yeah I think after blunt 200 they couldn't keep their heads up." 

Sophia laughed, "Well I'm Sophia, and this is my bestie Topaz." Sophia said making introductions. Kilani grinned, "Hi." 

Before another word could be said a handsome boy came over and smiled at Kilani, "Hey, I'm going to go, babe, I'm out. You?" Kilani shook her head and the boy frowned before nodding and leaving. 

Topaz c****d an eyebrow and asked, "Boyfriend?" Kilani nodded, "Richard. He's...he's great but I don't, he's not my mate." Sophia c****d an eyebrow, "So break up with him." Kilani sighed, "It'd really disappoint my father if I broke up with Richard." 

Sophia grinned and shrugged, "So make him break up with you. Tell him the truth about how you feel and what you want. He'll do the rest." 

Kilani bit her bottom lip and whispered urgently, "How is he?" Sophia c****d an eyebrow as she accepted a blunt. "Who is he?" Kilani let out a titter of laughter. "Never mind."  Sophia grinned widely and whispered, "So you're Trent's mate? No wonder he's so torn on what to do. You're gorgeous." Kilani colored in the face. 

Sophia giggled and the smoke party continued on. More people dropped out soon after blunt 500 until there was on twenty or so people in the room. They sat in a circle on the floor talking as they kept weed going and lit. 

When it got down to fifteen, Jordan suddenly lifted his head and asked Sophia, "Hey kid did that s**t with your mate get straightened out?" Everyone looked at the high Sophia who nodded, "He's alpha now." 

A girl blushed as she gushed, "Hot." Sophia giggled and looked up suddenly seeing Ezra not meeting her eyes. 

Sighing she wondered if things would ever settle between them. She didn't want them to be enemies. She'd rather they be acquaintances if anything. 

A very stoned Jaden Keller asked, "Yo is it true they like bite you and s**t?" Laughing Sophia nodded, "Yeah he marks me on my neck as a sign to show I'm his mate." The guy whistled, "f*****g brutal." 

Kassidy hummed, "Yeah but she's his mate so to her it will be very pleasurable." 

Sophia looked at Topaz who was laughing with Charles.  When the group ticked down to ten and there were seven hundred or so blunts left Sophia was laying her head on Topaz's lap as she did tricks when Kilani came and gave her something. "Will you give this to..." 

Sophia nodded in understanding taking it, "I will." 

Smiling Kilani tapped out and left putting them to nine people with six hundred something blunts to go. 

An hour later and two hundred blunts later it was Charles, Topaz, Sophia, Ezra, Jaden Keller, Kassidy, and Jordan. 

As they got some water Jaden looked at Ezra gawking at Sophia and smirked before he asked, "I thought you two were a thing?" 

Sophia looked at Ezra who's jaw clenched as he shot a glare at Jaden. Sophia didn't know why Jaden would ask such a random, personal question. But Ezra did and he wanted to smash the prick's face open. 

Jaden had at once asked Ezra and Christopher to hook him up with Sophia he had been quick to say no. Jaden had asked him then, which was almost two years ago, if they were an item. He had been a douche and told him "maybe." 

This was his embarrassingly petty revenge. 

Ezra sighed, "No." Sophia laughed as she hugged Topaz making Ezra exhale even more depressed, "We were just friends." 

As the party continued on and Ezra was caught multiple times gawking at Sophia, it was just blurted out by Jaden, "So why didn't you want Ezra?" Ezra almost choked on his smoke as Sophia looked at Jaden. "What?" 

Jaden shrugged, "Everyone knows you a luna now, but everyone thought for the longest time you were with Ezra. What happened?" 

Sophia scoffed, "People should obviously stop thinking. Besides, we're passed this." 

Ezra looked at Sophia annoyed, "No we're not. We never talked about it, it was just you telling me you didn't feel the same." Sophia scoffed dismissing that, "And then you walked off, refused to talk to me, insulted my character, my mate's character and then suddenly wanted to be my friend again. There's nothing to talk about." 

Ezra jerked back from the steel in Sophia's voice and everyone watched Ezra try to come back from her fire comment. "Oh come on Soph I was hurting and I lashed out. If I was a girl it would have been a bitchy moment that couldn't be hugged out, but because I'm a guy I'm a d**k for life? Besides you were never considerate of my feelings. The minute you found out I liked you, you kicked me out of your life and now my own friends would rather spend time with your mate than me." 

Sophia finally just said it, "It's not my fault I don't like you! You can get mad and say hurtful s**t you can try and twist this around to make me look like a vindictive b***h but I never promised you anything and I never gave you indication I would." 

Ezra's jaw clenched and Sophia chimed in, "And FYI I've never told or made Topaz or Charles choose between hanging out with us or hanging out with you. Or not to even invite you to come along." Topaz looked down and muttered, "We don't because we knew it would just become a pissing contest." 

Ezra nodded and stood, "I'm out," he said gruffly walking out of the room he slammed the door behind him. 

The room was silent for a while after that. 

After another two hundred blunts, the only two left was Kassidy and Sophia and both were laying on the floor passing blunts back and forth, Sophia had kicked her shoes off and seemed to find nothing to say but everything to think.  

"It's not your fault," Kassidy told Sophia as she handed her the blunt. "I know. I just hate he tried to make it be." Kassidy laughed, "Men with power, true power like to think nothing can hurt them. And then this pretty little thing in some wedges suddenly he's tongue-tied. It's in a man's DNA to be prideful even in love." 

Sophia smiled a little, "I guess so." Sighing Sophia leaned back and then heard, "By the way you know you won right?" Sophia looked at Kassidy who smiled, "I'm not a contestant I was to stay with the last person." 

Sophia smiled, "Cool...I wonder if Snoop Dogg has ever been this high?" 

"Who is Snoop Dogg?" 

"Nevermind."
