"I really do hope you know the purpose of your arrival," he says. His voice vibrates through every inch of the wall making the hair on the back of my neck stand straight.
"So you want to tell me why instead of playing these games?" I ask him back, even though I am s**t scared deep down.
"You cannot love her. You are my son. You are the one who will take my place a couple of centuries later in the demon world. And you bloody not tell me that you love someone. And that someone being.. that worthless mortal on earth," he says.
