"What the f**k has happened?" Maddox asks me and I just shrug, looking at Zelda.
She doesn't say anything. She just hugs him and cries a river. No one dared stop her or him. We let them stay like that for a while.
Until...
We all watched Ophelia herself walk through the doors. And she looks so different. So very different.
And without a second word, she just dumps a few more code words and then leaves the place.
"Are we just going to watch her or actually catch her?" Kelsie is the first to react but I already hate breaking the bubble for these kids.
"We can't. It's astral projection. She is not her by flesh and blood," I say and they all nod in understanding.
I grab one of the notes.
