“You look extra pretty today, baby.” I rolled my eyes as I entered Ryder’s room.
I just got back to the boy’s dormitory from a meeting with Ms. Blaire. River was in a student council meeting. Kira should be there, too. I did not hear anything from Allona and I couldn’t hang out with Clayton and Drake if the twins were not with us. I wouldn’t want to be with the two jokers even if they were free. Otherwise, I would be teased and annoyed the whole time.
Ryder was the same. He would also tease and annoy me. And even bully me softly, if there was such a thing. But Ryder was also the sweetest. Yes, he could be sweeter than River sometimes, who I already thought was the sweetest.
