We walked out to the spot and saw that Otto had marked off the area so no one would taint it with their scent or footprints. Aksel was talking with a group of warriors that were about to go with him off the territory. Krew was standing close to where I had been lying with a tablet in his hands. Rambo and Sage were close behind him talking.
I scanned the area and looked at the footprints that led up to me, then left the area. I followed them with everyone close behind me. I followed the prints until they disappeared, then they reappeared. I knew that movement but I couldn’t place it with the fog that was in my brain.
I looked back at Krew and asked, “did you catch this on the cameras?”
