I woke up slowly after dreaming of Jamie. I’m not sure what woke me up, since I wanted to stay there with her. I opened my eyes and looked around the room I was in. It looked like a basement and there was a tall living room lamp in the corner that was on. I was on an old mattress that smelled musty as hell and gave no comfort. I moved to sit up slowly and felt how weak I was. I lay back on the bed and realized that the mattress was on an old metal frame and I was handcuffed to it. s**t.
