(Micah) “I had a lot of fun, thanks again, Jacob, for this,” I said. He smiled at me and nodded, then walked away with Arlo in his arms after he fell asleep. Closing the door to Landon and my room, I yawned as I made my way to the bathroom. I was tired but needed a shower ASAP. After my shower, I got dressed in one of Landon's shirts and got into bed. Landon wasn't here yet, so it gave me time to think. I did enjoy myself at the pool today, something long overdue. With the constant nagging from everyone, especially Logan, who became attached to me for whatever reason, I had had enough. Gasping, I sat up quickly. My eyes widened from the direction my thoughts went. No way, no way. As quickly as that thought came, I got rid of it, laughing as if it were the funniest thing ever. I have never confronted Logan about why he was acting like that. There’s no need to because I already knew it was because he cared about me, in a brotherly way. Don’t go twisting things if you don’t understand. Logan had been teaching me to cut hair, so of course, we were going to get closer if we spent every waking moment together. I’ve never thought of him romantically, heck no. He’s like a brother to me, since I’m so close to him, and his entire family. I’m thinking about Logan because of what he did while I was swimming. The worst part is, I enjoyed it. Ugh, I’m an i***t. Wait, what? Oh no, it’s not what you think. Get your mind out of the gutter and back to reality, please. While I was swimming, I decided to take a break, so I sat on the edge of the pool and dangled my feet in the water. My hair was getting in my eyes, wet and uncontrollable. No matter how many times I pushed it back, it just seemed to like that very spot. So, Logan saw the dilemma and decided to help me. Well, he tried to help me since Landon came barging toward us in a fit of rage. Logan had a comb, goddess forbid where he got it from. He was sitting behind me, his feet also in the water, combing my hair. He tried to tie it with an elastic band he had, but right as he was about to finish, Landon pulled him away and slammed him to the ground. They almost fought, but Jacob broke it up, with an angry expression on his face. My parents saw and started chastising me, saying it was wrong to let another man do that in the presence of my mate. I only rolled my eyes because I saw nothing wrong. It was a nice gesture, and I liked it. Arlo found it weird, while Malachi mocked me about having two boyfriends. As if I could handle that. Overall, it was a great day. I didn’t get punished, and Landon admitted he made a mistake and got angry. I guess he really was changing, and that made me love him even more.
