After a long pause with me calculating my options, I asked Brian. “What’s the time?” “It’s noon already.” “Alright.” I said. “You might really need to get me that wheel chair.” “Why? Where do you want to go?” “To pax.” I said, “I need to train for the battle tomorrow. And also,” I took another pause. “I need to write a letter.” My eye narrowed on Devon as I plotted quietly. Brian didn’t ask who I wanted to write a letter to. He carried me back to our room and prepared everything for me and when I was finally done writing the letter, I folded and handed it over to him. “To who?” He asked, staring at it. “To the Silver Crest pack. It’s dedicated to my father.” “Liv—“ “No, Brian. Don’t try to convince me. He wanted to meet me right? Fine. I’ll grant his wish.” “It won’t go well.”
