I woke up inside a dark cell that smelled like rotten flesh. Instantly, bile rose up my throat, and I rushed to a corner to empty out my gut. “You’ll have to get used to the stench here.” Someone said, and it was only then that I noticed him sitting in front of my cell. “Hungry?” My jaws clenched tightly, and I looked away without saying anything. “You’ve been out for a couple of hours.” He went on. “I think Sloane got you really hard.” Sloane.
