“I only poisoned you once.”
I stared hard at the woman in front of me. She was beautiful, and no doubt, smart. Powerful even. If it weren’t for the restriction we put on her, I knew she’d be fighting her way out of here by now. She’d begin to burn everywhere with her flames like she did to Paul.
I had doubted Talon’s words when he said this woman was responsible for my near death experience. That she’d been my weakness in the past. Now I was beginning to believe him. Now that I finally met her .
My wolf have been pacing in unrest since we met. I hadn’t even been able to concentrate on the meeting I had earlier. Because I kept thinking about her I had to rush back here. Only to hear her confirm another story Talon had told me and I had doubted.
