The next morning, I didn’t find Brian by my side when I woke up. I got ready for the day, taking a huge breath as I thought about what was ahead of me today.

I walked out of the room just then and happened to see a face I didn’t expect to be here. “Nadia?”
She was walking towards the living room when I spotted her and as she turned, I saw it was indeed her. When I left her at the Willow pack that day, I told her she could come here and they’d let her in.
