We arrived in Ethiopia after a three-and-a-half-hour flight from Egypt. That was way better than thinking about driving for two days in unknown countries. We had already been told by Alpha Mena what we needed to wear here so we were ready to go. Akila had on pants and a beige t-shirt while Nava had on an ankle-length white and gray dress that covered her shoulders. I was told to wear pants and a gray button-up t-shirt. We couldn’t wear blue or black in this country. I don’t know the reason and I didn’t ask.
