It’s hot as hell here. Why would anyone choose to live here at this time of year? And how the hell do the animals even survive? At least we were in a car at the moment with the AC driving to the next pack after a simple four-hour flight to New South Wales.
Things were going fine, until the car we were driving decided to overheat and started to sputter. Sean pulled off the road that had no traffic on it and turned the vehicle off. I silently started cursing at this new situation. We were all going to die out in the damn sun if we weren’t careful.
