Alex’s POV
“I, Alpha Alex of the Red Moon Pack, accept your challenge, Alpha Gage of the Modac Timber Tribe,” I thundered out in my Alpha tone.
The words came out of my mouth before I even thought about what I was saying. I could feel Zoe panic and get angry with me. What else was I supposed to do? This was part of being the pack Alpha. If I declined the challenge then he would still come after me and I could possibly lose my place for not standing up to an opponent. Being the Alpha was tough.
I took a breath still looking at Gage and said, “If you win you get my pack and territory. Along with the seat on the Alpha Council. If I win then your tribe members are to become part of my pack.”
“Deal,” he growled.
