Dossam led me out of the guesthouse before she guided me towards the dark woods. I was hesitant at first. The woods seemed very unsafe at night. I did not want to go there and the fact that anything could be out there was scaring me furthermore.
I waited. My eyes stayed on the dark woods, waiting for a scary creature to come out of it. Instead, Dossam’s lycan broke off into a run and before I could say anything, she had already disappeared. Her unique scent lingered in the air. I shivered as a wave of cold night air hit me.
