I ran through the woods with the other lycans. The trees were a blur at either side of us. The way we ran, it was sure that we would not be stopping anytime soon. Currently, we were only four lycans tracking the vampires who attacked the pack in the morning and fled.
Javier was leading us. He was a well-trained tracker. Currently, he was putting his skills to the best use. He hadn’t stopped once ever since we started. The way he was leading, depicted his confidence and mastery in his skills. It was one of the reasons we tolerated him even despite his childish behavior.
We were currently only four lycans. Ace, Javier, Sean and I. Grant, another lycan who was on a mission with us, had stayed back at the pack with the Alpha to look after the pack and brief the warriors about us.
