EMILY’S POV — The second we walk into Haiden’s house, he slams the door shut and glares at me, “Give me that.” he snatches the paper out of my hands and starts reading it. I watch as his eyebrows furrow, his eyes narrowing more and more until they’re in slits. “This is bullshit,” he sneers, his lip twitching as he glares at the paper. “I will sign it all over.” I clarify, but he rolls his eyes, “Sure,” the sarcasm is what baffles me. I snap, storming closer to him, “Call your damn lawyer and we will sort this out.” I snap. I don’t know what his damn problem is, but I am trying to help him, and me. All I want is the money, and then I want to give some to my mom and leave. I don’t want to this pack’s leader anymore, but I also can’t leave it right now. I have to get Haiden out of this
