Winter was strong and fierce, her warriors were the same. I had a million questions but the look on her face dissuaded me from asking any of them. She just wanted to get down to business.
As we creeped up on the spot where she had last made contact with her Beta, I could see her eyes glaze over, mind-linking someone. After a few quick words she turned to me and without any warning shifted.
Golden eyes now stared back at me, a large wolf with a an ice-white beautiful coat. I had a hard time looking away from her wolf, it exuded power and prowess, there was also a danger surrounding her, particularly when she snapped at me to shift with her.
