"Watch out," I warned Euphie, Yvonne, and Elsa. It was no use warning Skylar and the rest of the pirates. Given how Skylar had been hurrying us along, warning them of danger that lay ahead would only earn me a tongue lashing. The smell turned out to be from mutant pink flowers, which lined the path we were taking. I say path, but it was more like a line I was drawing in my mind. We were still bashing our way through the forest, trying to avoid being hit in the head by errant low hanging branches.
