After listening to Devon, Jessie was more than convinced his half-brother had nothing to do with Ruth’s disappearance, and his assumption that the woman Demi was involved was probably sound.
“So do you know if she returned to America?” Jessie asked.
“When I spoke with Craig, she had flown back with him. He contacted her though, after he had told me what had happened between them, and informed her he was resigning from the company, and that she would fail in her attempt to blackmail him, or me. He has not seen her since,” Devon explained.
