After dropping off Scott, I wandered for a while before driving back home. As usual, there was no one at home, making me feel alone and abandoned again. I was getting ready to make myself something quick to eat when I heard heavy moans and panting just outside the kitchen window. It did not take long for me to figure out what was happening, but I felt hurt. We were best friends for years before I started developing romantic feelings for him and confessed to him accidentally. It would have been fine if he had rejected me and we both continued to live our lives separately. There was no need for him to go to this extent and make out with girls right in front of me.
