Chapter 2 : The Coffe Date

The Coffee Date

Max's P O V :

I was just scrolling through grindr when a profile nearby caught my eyes, Scott Morgan. I immediately looked into his profile and found him cute. He looked really handsome in his profile pictures and his bio was nice too. I immediately texted him and he replied. I found him intrigued and so we continued our chatting. Then we exchanged our numbers then started calling and video calling each other. He was nice, tall, handsome and intelligent also. We both had common hobbies and interests. Talking or chatting with him became one of my favorite thing in recent days. I thought I took it too far with my banana jokes but I was relieved when he didn't mind it and played it cool. We both decided to meet today for a coffee day and currently I was on shower wondering what should I do.

" Don't think too much Max. Everything will go great ", I said to myself and applied the body wash all over my body. I took my time to clean myself properly so that I wouldn't embarrass myself. The cold water ran down my body and I felt as if every being of my body was enjoying this sensation. I washed my hair using shampoo and applied conditioner for a smooth and silky appearance. After a nice shower, I dried myself completely using a towel and then went out from the bathroom. I checked myself at mirror and smiled a bit. I put on a yellow t shirt with a faded black jeans and a pair of black sneakers. I took my time styling my hair, keeping them fluffy and wavy at front. I stared at my reflection in the mirror and checked myself again just to be sure I was on my best look. I went downstairs and saw my granny sipping her usual cup of ginger tea. I greeted her good morning and she greeted me back. She complemented me on my looks and wished me luck when I told her I was going out on a date. I kissed her forehead and went to the backyard. I took out my bike and headed towards the Caffe where we were supposed to meet. I was the first one to arrive so I choose a nice corner table and waited for him to show up.

Scott's P O V :

I am an idiot. Even though I precisely set a series of alarms incase I couldn't wake up on my own, I still slept through them.

" Stupid, stupid, idiot, moron ", I cursed myself in my mind as I hurriedly got up from the bed. It was already a quarter to eight in the morning and we both decided to meet at nine in the morning. I quickly brushed my teeth and finished my morning routines. I planned on having a nice bath but considering the situation right now I settled for a quick one. I felt my muscles being relaxed when the water touched my body. After a quick bath I put on a black shirt and a blue jeans along with a pair of blue snickers. I went downstairs and saw my mother was arranging tables.

" Where are you going ? ", my mom asked me raising her one eye brow.

" I have a date mom and I am already super late ", I said and left. I heard my mom was saying something but I just ignored it. I took my motorcycle and headed towards the Caffe. I parked my vehicle and made my way towards the door. The bell rang as soon as I opened the door and stepped in. My breath hitched when I saw him smiling at me. He waved his hand and I went towards him. I sat in front of him.

" Hey ", he greeted smilingly. His voice hearing it for the very first time so closely ignited a certain desire in me.

" Hii ", I greeted back with a smile on my face.

" You are way handsome in real life ", he complemented and I felt my heart skip a beat.

" You are too infact your deep voice is sexy ", I said winking at him and he gulped hard, clearly not expecting this.

" What happened to the shy, naive and innocent Scott ? ", he asked raising an eye brow.

" Well he got strength and confidence from eating bananas ", I said seductively and as I expected he choked on his saliva.

" Fuck, you are good ", he said after he calmed himself and I smiled at him.

" Let's order then ", I said and he agreed. We both called the waiter and gave our order. Max settled for a hot chocolate along with a chessed corn sandwich while I ordered a cold coffee and brownies. We both talked a lot, knew each other a bit more and decided to spend some more time together. We kind of roamed around the city, enjoying little things. We both didn't realize when two hours have been passed, we both said each other goodbye and went home.
