Ashley's parents needed money for her mother’s medical bill. Waldo was at the hospital to visit one of the women that he had Buck beat because she tried to leave him. At first Waldo snickers because the family was poor. The snicker stopped when his eyes landed on Ashley. Waldo even thought that he felt something warm in his chest. All he knew was that he had to have her. That’s when he approaches Jefferson, Ashley's father. The man was outraged. But Ashley clams her father down and walked around Waldo looking him up and down. She looked over at her mother and then at her father. Let me do this for our family, but only if this man signs a legal document that he’ll pay for all of her mother’s medical treatments during her hospital stay and whatever she needs afterward.
