“I thought you said that I disgust you?” Crystal seriously said as she fought the urge to give in to the man’s appeal. Gabriel sighed, pulling off his arms and legs around her as he remembers the awful place she is working at. He moved, sitting up on the bed while Crystal also motioned, putting her both feet on the carpeted floor.
“How did you get there, by the way? You should have looked for me, Crystal.” running his fingers through his hair with so much frustration.
“I tried,” she started in a shaky voice. Gabriel turned to her, waiting for her further explanation.
“Dad told me to find you, which I did, but when I learned you were engaged with Rachel, it hurt me so much.” Her tears streamed down her cheek, which she quickly wiped off by the back of her hand.
“It crashes me to bits, every time I see you together. You were everywhere, in news, bulletins, and even people around Creekwood always talk about how perfect you two are together. You do not know how hurt I am, Gabriel.” She continued while Gabriel moved closer to her, hugging her from behind.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“My parents got separated from me, my grandfather died, and then my family denied me and pushed me away. They didn’t even let me see him for the last time. I am just thankful that I met Pearl. She accepted me even after she saw my siren form and offered me the cabin where I stayed safely,” she said between her hiccups and sniffing.
“Pearl? You mean, the diver?” Gabriel inquired, remembering about the lady.
“Yes, why? Do you know her?” tilting her head to look at him.
“She lied to me!” Gabriel unbelievably mumbled.
“What do you mean?”
“I went to her house after seeing the pearls that look like your tears that she gave to my uncle when she tried renting one, but she denied and insisted that the pearls came from her father. She never mentioned about you!” he complained.
“So, you really were looking for me? But why hasn't Pearl mentioned you to me?”
“Yes! I even almost got the bloody pearl in an auction if only not because of that-” Gabriel annoyingly said, remembering when he almost got the pearl but the surprised lady cut him off.
“Wait, what? You saw the pearl?” twisting her body to face him fully
“Yes, unfortunately, I lost the bidding. I’m sorry.” He apologized and reached for her hand.
“But it’s alright, Crystal. Look around you. Everything you need is already here inside this room. You don’t have to live again on an island, you can stay with me, and then every night time, we will stroll around the city just like I promised you before, remember?” caressing his thumb above her knuckles, but Crystal abruptly stands up as she steps backward.
“No! I will never be your prisoner, Gabriel.”
“What prisoner are you talking about? Of course not,” he said, taking some steps forward in her direction.
“Crystal,” reaching for her hand.
“Let’s just forget about our misunderstanding and let’s start again, just like how we first met on the island,” he said, caressing her face with his other hand.
“No, I can’t do that. I still have to find my parents, they might be somewhere waiting for me.”
“It’s okay, love. We’ll find them, I promise.” but still it didn’t change Crystal’s worried expression. Gabriel noticed it and held her chin to make her look up at him.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Gabriel, I doubt we can start again.” She honestly said, pulling her hand off his grip.
“What do you mean?”
Crystal heaved a deep sigh before she answered him.
“Because I-I do-don’t have feelings for you anymore.” she stammered as she told the truth to the man for him not to expect anything from her.
While Gabriel suddenly lost his words after what he heard from the lady. He swallowed several times as he looked at her, crumpling the fabric of her dress with her both hands on the side anxiously. Later on, he feels his muscles clenched because of the confusing emotion he has inside him which comprises anger and jealousy but before he could burst out again, he turned away from the lady. He walked towards the mini bar on the other side of the pool, taking out a shot glass from the shelf, then poured himself some vodka.
Crystal doesn't know what to do. There is a side of her telling her to follow the man and apologize, but the other just wants to make him savor the truth that her heart has changed.
She is sitting on the couch for she doesn't know for how long already until her body slowly drops on the leather couch while her both feet stay on the floor.

The next morning, Crystal woke up with some tingling kisses on her face.
"Stop," she said with her still groggy voice as she tried to push the hovering man away but he didn't move a bit and just grabbed her both hands, pinning them above her head.
"Gabriel, stop it."
"I don't care how many men have kissed you, or even have s*x with you. I don't care, Crystal. I don't f*****g care!" it stunned Crystal when suddenly Gabriel buried his face in her neck, crying while uttering those words.
"I love you so much,"
"Gab-Gabe?"
"I love you." Still in his breaking state.
Crystal felt his grip loosening and took that advantage to pull her hands off then push Gabriel's heavy body beside her.
"Don't go," Gabriel uttered with closed eyes.
"Gabriel, are you okay?" Crystal worriedly asked.
"Yes, love." Gabriel answers and grabs another chance to encircle his arms around her waist. Crystal looked down at the man who's like a child snuggling into her as her heart softened with the sight, but remembering how he made her terrified the night when he took her and for shooting Jason made her reluctant.
“Gabriel, get off me already. It’s time for my change, I need to get into the water.” She told him as she tried getting off his grip.
Gabriel sighed and looked up at her with a weak smile, getting out of the bed.
“Let me get you ready for your switch, love.” He said as he down on one knee in front of the lady.
“Gabriel, what are you doing?”
Gabriel enters his hands under her dress and clutches her underwear’s waistband, pulling it down. Crystal cannot protest from what he is doing and just held on to his shoulder until he successfully pulled the thin fabric out. Then followed her dress as he pulled it out over her head and next was her brassier, throwing all of her clothes on the bed. Crystal quickly covers her bosoms by crossing her arms over while Gabriel is feasting his eyes on the exquisite creature in front of him.
“Aren’t you going to give me a top, Gabriel?” Crystal suddenly asked, just to divert his attention away from her body.
Then, he takes off his shirt making her wear it, and next is his jogger, leaving only his boxer on.
“What are you doing?” Crystal inquired, with furrowed eyebrows.
“I just miss swimming with you, my siren.” He said, holding her chin gently with his fingers and pulling her for a quick kiss but it shocked Crystal and gasped when suddenly Gabriel laid her back on the bed and positioned himself between her thighs as he put one leg over his shoulder and sucked her out with no hesitation.
“Gabe, don’t. Stop it!” She protests, even though her body wants the pleasure he is giving. Gabriel keeps her steady by putting a hand on her waist while he traces the other one under the shirt she’s wearing and reaches her already hard bud, molding it with his fingers that brought even more electrifying sensation throughout her body.
“Gabe!” Gabriel didn’t stop until she came into his mouth.
Crystal’s heart was racing so fast after her release and unable to move from the bed. While it tempted Gabriel to thrust inside her slick hole as he traced it with his fingers. Cannot believe how beautiful she is even after working on the club, but whiffed his head negatively for that thought.
‘She’s mine only and I will let no one take her away from me again.’ He swore to himself, eager to keep the lady selfishly.
Crystal moves, when she finally finds her grip and sits on the bed while looking up at Gabriel with sharp eyes, but before Gabriel could speak, Crystal walks to the pool and dives already. Gabriel followed her and also jumped into the water. However, the lady kept on avoiding him as she swam in a different direction.
“Crystal, tell me. What should I do for you to love me again, huh?” But before Crystal could answer, her switch started. Stopping her from keeping their distance away from the man.
Gabriel quickly attended to her and embraced her body for her to have a hold, trying to ease some pain. Until it’s done.
“I want to know if Jason is fine.” She suddenly mumbles, looking up at his eyes. Gabriel swallowed while his jaw clenched after hearing the man’s name again from her. He heaved a deep sigh with tightly closed eyes, feeling defeated. However, he can do nothing but agree just to get the lady’s love back.
“Fine.”
