Gabriel decided to place a comfy dry mat on the front deck where he planned to sleep for the night.
"Under the bright moon and shimmering stars is best." He commented talking to himself as he laid down his body, crossing his legs while elevated and his hands under his head, looking up to his ceiling of sparkling tiny diamonds.
His thoughts were deep and he's just gawking above the sky when suddenly he heard footsteps. He quickly moved carefully and took his gun under his mat. He stood up and leaned on the front glass window, slowly he crawled his foot ahead to have a nice position to take a force when he got a chance to catch the unknown visitor who is now walking on the narrow side of the boat, getting closer to where he is.
When he saw the shadow coming closer, he took a deep breath and ease himself to get ready for an attack, and just when the person came out he quickly moved and pinned the person on the wall of the boat with his arm on her neck while the other was pointing the gun at her face.
But Gabriel's eyes widened and almost popped out from its sockets while his heart skipped in surprise when he recognized that it was the enchanting lady. Their faces are just almost an inch apart from each other and Gabriel feels like he was pulled by a magnet closer to the lovely face.
"Gabe," Crystal uttered in an almost choked voice.
Gabriel reluctantly released the lady but when he did Crystal's knees wobbled and lost her balance. She almost fell on the boat but luckily Gabriel caught her in an instant, wrapping his arm around her tiny waist while Crystal's hand on her chest.
Their body seems to be connected to each other as they both gasp and start breathing with heavy air through their mouths.
"Gabe," again, Crystal tried to get his attention to take her out from the awkward and weird position, wherein she was bending down under Gabriel.
"Oh! I yeah, I'm sorry about that." He apologizes and helps the lady to stand straight, but Crystal just smiles at him.
Gabriel shyly scratched the back of his neck and took a deep breath before gesturing to the lady to go ahead to the front deck. Crystal smiled and started to step ahead.
She is wearing a white strapped sundress while her curly long black hair is loose bouncing on her back while the sea breeze blows on it. She also has a canvas tote bag on her shoulder.
Gabriel followed her from behind, watching her every move while she was studying the grand boat.
"How many rooms do you have inside this yacht?" Suddenly Crystal inquired as she peered through the covered front window.
"Two, you want to have a tour?" Gabriel gladly offered.
"I would love that," Crystal responded with a sweet smile, while Gabriel swallowed hard after seeing her clear face closer under the brightness of the moon.
As he gestured to the lady to step ahead of where the entrance was, he noticed the bag that seemed heavy for her slender arms.
"Why don't you put down the bag first?" He insisted, the lady stopped just a foot away from him and grinned.
"Actually, I brought this for you." She said, taking the bag off her shoulder and handing it forward to him.
He was stunned.
"For me?" He repeated and accepted it. He opened the bag and saw different kinds of fruits inside it and a bottle of water.
"I just thought that you might be starving. Father can't go back with you since he was weary after cleaning up the mess around our house with my mother but maybe tomorrow." She informed him with the smile glued on her face.
"Thank you, I appreciate it very much." He responded staring intently at the lady in front of him.
"So, can I get inside already? Please?" Crystal excitedly asked, can't wait to see what other things he might have inside.
"Sure, I'm sorry if I keep you waiting, my dear guest." He apologizes playfully putting the bag with fruits down, while Crystal starts to bite her lower lip to suppress her giggles.
They enter inside the interior and Crystal gasps with the elegance of his boat. It was spacious and the ceiling is high, unlike the one they have that she is able to reach the ceiling when she jumps. The salon area has a wide flat television screen and a very soft and comfortable couch on the side. The floor is covered with gray woven carpet and the couches are made of leather. A few steps beside the salon is the boat kitchen with fridge and drawers, he also has a mini dishwasher.
"The water went in." She mumbles when she notices the wet packaging of foods in a wire basket.
"Yeah," Gabriel said, scratching the back of his neck.
Crystal turned around and saw a closed door behind.
"Can I?" She asked while gripping the doorknob as she waited for his permission as the curiosity overwhelmed her.
"Sure," he allowed her.
She twisted the knob and the door revealed the shower with a sliding glass door, toilet and sink. She came out and went into another door beside it and it was a bedroom with the hatch on the ceiling. She slumped her upper body on the soft bed while her feet on the floor.
"It's so soft," she said, giggling as her body was almost swallowed by the mattress. Gabriel chuckles at her.
"You want to see the master's?" Gabriel asked.
"Yes," Crystal responded without hesitations. But before she could follow Gabriel to the other room, Crystal saw something scattered on the floor.
"Gabe, what's this?" She curiously asked, spreading a maroon laced silky lingerie in front of her.
Gabriel gasped and immediately took the thin fabric off her grip and threw it inside the trash bin. Crystal was stunned by his action and frowned at him.
"I'm sorry, that was nothing. It was my sister's." He explained, not even sure why he denied it.
"Sister? You have a sister?" Crystal innocently asked, excited to hear that he has a sibling.
"A no! I mean, cousin, yeah! Cousin, my cousin forgot to include that in her luggage when she left." He explained reluctantly, while his sweat started to form on his forehead.
"Oh! okay, you don't have to explain to me anyway. I was just amazed that there is a beautiful dress like that but you only threw it." She said, regretting his actions.
Gabriel's heart was pounding very hard looking down at the innocent lady in front of him. He never thought that he could find someone like her, she was just totally rare among the others. His eyes traveled down to her damp lips and swallowed imagining how soft they could be against his.
"Gabe," Crystal woke him up from his thoughts.
"Ah, so-sorry about that, I was just thinking about something." He explained.
"You missed your cousin?" Crystal innocently asked, but Gabriel can't find his words to respond as he felt ashamed of himself.
But suddenly, Crystal heaved a deep sigh while her face turned sad.
"I miss my cousins too," she mumbled in an almost whisper voice.
"Where are they?" Gabriel asked as he started to lead her to the lower cabin where the master bedroom is.
"They're living in the city, away from the island." She informed him.
"Really? So you have relatives from the city." Crystal nodded.
"Then why are you guys living on this isolated island? Why not choose the city instead?" He inquired.
"We can't,"
"Why not?" He asked, pulling Crystal to sit on the king size bed.
"Because I'm sick." She sadly mumbled, twisting her fingers on her lap.
"Sick?" He asked hesitantly and Crystal nodded.
"What kind of sickness do you have that you guys need to stay away?" He inquired, confused about her confession.
"I'm afraid that you might not understand," she said and abruptly jerks her head to face him only to realize they are too close to each other.
"Try me," Gabriel whispered, looking deep into her eyes which he realized that she had a pair of almond baby blue eyes.
"Your eyes, they're beautiful." He said as the magnet that Crystal possesses starts to pull him again.
"Thank you, I got them from my mother's." She said but Gabriel didn't respond.
"Gabe," she called him again to bring him into his senses but Gabriel was too drowned by her charm. She stood up instead and stepped away from him as she felt a sudden weird unfamiliar feeling.
"What was that?" Gabriel asked looking up to her like he suddenly just woke up from a quick slumber.
"I guess the tour was over," she said and walked away, going outside the cabin.
