Amelia is coming today. It’s been a week, and while we’ve talked every day, I miss her ass. I miss her being here. We’ve got 38 weeks left, but that seems so far away.
She told me last night that she asked her dad to come with them today. She seems so nervous about it, though I’m not sure why. I’m the one who should be nervous. He’s going to show up and inspect the place to make sure that I’m worthy of her. He wants to know I can take care of her, and I can. I’m just not sure it’s up to his standard.
