“How are you feeling these days?”
Ethen pinched the bridge of his nose shutting his eyes tight. He was trying to figure out something and didn’t respond to the person who was on the phone.
“Ethen….”
“Oh! Yeah, Eve, what were you saying? Sorry, I was lost somewhere…” Ethen said, plunging on his chair.
“I said how are you feeling these days?” Eve questioned.
“Well, I still got the same answer…” He took a deep breath feeling hopeless.
“A part of me feels like missing…” they both said at once.
“I got you. Don’t worry; everything is going to be alright…” Eve tried to console him.
“I hope so, anyway thanks…” he replied and hung up the call before throwing it on his desk.
