I could immediately tell Sebastian wasn’t bluffing. It was obvious he knew the truth. I just wasn’t sure if he had proof and if he didn’t, I wasn’t going to be stupid by admitting it in front of him.
What if he was recording?
“What are you talking about?”
Sebastian threw his head back and laughed like I had cracked the funniest joke. I stared at him blankly, making sure I didn’t have a guilty expression on my face. Lily finding out was one thing. She was humiliated and felt stupid that Nicole and I were messing around behind her back, but that was it. She didn’t hate either of us, at least not enough to expose us.
But Sebastian? This was the opening for him to get the position he’d been competing with me for all his life.
