Caspian ran swiftly across the white halls until he reached the room where Sobek’s body was placed.
“Caspian.” Aredhel said as she turned to him. He was panting and his eyes searched the room right away.
“Where is she?” Caspian asked urgently. “Where is Amethyst?”
“She was left in the forest with the book.” Aredhel answered.
“WHAT?!!!” Caspian yelled furiously. “Why did you leave her behind?!”
“The book can’t pass through the portal and she wanted to stay and study the book.” Aredhel explained. “She’s the rightful owner of the amulet.”
