THE BURN OF A SILVER BLADE
I didn’t even know who was holding me or whose voice I was hearing. All I knew was that the world tilted, the floor kept slipping away from under my feet, and every breath felt like someone was dragging claws through my insides.
“Oh God! It hurts,’ I whined, letting the tears slip down my face.
“I know, I'm sorry, Hermosa . You'll be fine, Sienna is on her way.”
