Her breathing ragged, Alina ducked the bladed leg of a bug Elite. “You can’t come up to a lady and ask her to dance without introducing yourself.”
The Elite swung at her again, ignoring the soldiers and PSD agents unloading their rifles into its exposed sides and blasting out pieces. Its blade sliced through her rifle. “My name is irrelevant, insect, but yours isn’t, Alina Koval. You have interfered with our plans for far too long.”
“Oooh, I’m famous.” Alina jumped back and tossed the pieces of her rifle on the ground.
“And soon, you’ll be dead.” The Elite surged forward
