Elizabeth picked awkwardly at her sleeve, and tried not to look at Selene and Sawyer. It made her feel out of place again, because it felt like Selene had come to ask for Sawyer's opinion rather than anything else.
"You don't want him to accept?"
Sawyer sounded calm, and he was only asking for clarification.
"I don't think it is my place to decide that. I'm not good enough to be his only mate if he is their Alpha. I think he would have to take the woman he was seeing before me as his main mate for the pack to accept me. I don't think she would be happy to share him otherwise."
